James Rodney Ward 60, of 1233 J. T. Heath Road, died Monday March 24, 2014 at his home. He was born in Beaufort County October 6, 1953 to the late William Vernon and Helen Louise Cherry Ward and was predeceased by a brother, Wiley Ward.

Memorial services will be held Thursday March 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Dolan Baker. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-2 PM prior to the service at the funeral home and at other times from the home of Michelle Savage, 1180 Holly Springs Loop Road.

Survivors include his daughters Christine W. Price of Williamston, Michelle W. Savage and husband Doug of Williamston; brothers, Steve Ward of Washington, Bill Ward of Rocky Mount; grandchildren Kody White, Cirsty Price, Haven Price and Gage Savage.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a charity of choice.
