Comments:
Graduated NCSU in Forestry in 1975 and moved to Asheville NC. Got a job in surveying, eventually becoming licensed Surveyor. Got into construction surveying, which eventually led to to Engineering Design for 34 years. Retired in 2018.
In between, managed to hike the Appalachian Trail, live in Montana a couple of years working for the Forest Service, travel quite a bit in North America by car, hiking and motorcycles. Plus get married and raise two great boys, one a combat veteran who is now a nurse and one an electrical engineer.
Retirement is hopefully focused on more travel as long as we are able.
